Butterfly Mower

The New Kverneland Taarup 5095M Butterfly Mower provides efficient performance with its 9.50m working width paired with a low weight design. The 5095 M Butterfly is purpose build for low operating costs in terms of power and fuel consumption, with power requirements as low as 150 hp.

Designed for large-scale mowing, the new butterfly mower is packed with features. The 5095M Butterfly consists of 2 x 3.6m wide mowing units, creating a working width of up to 9.5m.

Kverneland Taarups own in-house designed and manufactured cutterbar is designed for hard work and intensive use. The round discs ensure that stones are expelled immediately before risking blockages, which reduces shock loads on the transmission to an absolute minimum. This in turns improves durability substantially.

The Kverneland Taarup BreakBack device protects the cutterbar from foreign obstacles. If hitting an obstacle, the BreakBack device will swing the machine backwards and over the obstacle and automatically return the mower to working position, when the obstacle has been passed.

FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS

FASTER PRECISION

The mowing units are centre suspended via a suspension spring, to give an even weight distribution across the complete mower width. Faster and more precise adaptation to ground contours is also achieved because of the centre suspended design. The benefit is less skid wear and optimum protection of the stubble.

The 5095M Butterfly Mower can be adjusted for optimal operation according to different circumstances such as field contours or working width of the front mounted mower. To ensure optimal overlap between front and rear units, the mowing units can be mounted in two positions on the suspension arm.
LARGE-SCALE MOWING

Designed for large-scale mowing, the new butterfly mower is packed with features. The 5095M Butterfly consists of 2 x 3.6m wide mowing units, creating a working width of up to 9.5m.
HIGH SPEED ROAD TRANSPORTATION

The mower will stay below 4m transport height and folds into a compact position above 90°, distributing weight evenly for better stability during high speed road transportation.
